“Amok” got featured on a Finnish CD that displays the finest in Finnish dnb and dubstep.

This is a pretty unique moment in the history of Finnish dance music.

[Jan 14] The rhythm, the backbone… + a few other things

To me, the backbone of dope electronic music is the rhythm: you have to be able to listen to the simple break for a long time without getting bored of it.

It has to carry its own weight without any extra.

That’s how you can tell if it’s good or not.

I’ve been listening to this loop I did for maybe 20 mins and I still ain’t bored.

Also, as for new stuff…
Trust me, there’s new Fanu shit in the works even if you haven’t necessarily heard much new stuff from me recently.
I’ve never been one to produce massive loads of music in a short time, just to churn out loads of stuff just to stay in the spotlight or whatever…
I don’t write similar shit day in, day out.I only make music when I feel like I have something new to give.

Right now, after a hiatus, I’m feeling like I’ve entered another fruitful period again, so I gotta reap what’s been sowed while I wasn’t doing so much.
