New Ableton Live versions are out: the official version 8.1.5 as well as the new beta 8.1.6b2.
For the record, I endorse Ableton Live (Ableton Suite, to be exact), and I think it’s effing great.
I really appreciate the fact that they’re working on it aaaaaall the time, releasing new versions frequently.

De La Soul...one of my fave rap groups
Just cuz I’m nice!
This is a break that was used in De La Soul’s song “A Roller Skating Jam Called Saturdays”.
It’s by a band called Tower of Power, and the song that it was sampled from is called “Ebony Jam”.
The first version is the clean, non-touched one.
The second one is by myself: I recced it into my Akai s5000 and added a touch of EQ…it’s a wee bit distorted, but you can get some fat hits out of it.

MOTU Ultralike MK3 Hybrid
Just got a new soundcard, MOTU Ultralite MK3 Hybrid.
Will start working on loads of new shit soon.
Also decided to keep my trusty old Soundcraft desk after trying to sell it and switch to a smaller desk.
I think it was meant to stay in my studio, hehe.
Working on another remix at the moment.
Should be putting several soundclips online soonish!
I know I’ve been quiet for the past few months, but it’s the summertime that I’ve been concentrating on.
Soon, it’ll be time to get hella busy in the studio again.
Should also make a new mixtape or two soon.
Slowly yet surely working on material for the next album.
Don’t have an urge to be putting out loads of 12″s anymore – although, bringing Lightless back is in the plans!
